The problem
oneworld Alliance needed to modernize its employee training platform, which was built for desktop and difficult to access on mobile. The static, presentation-like format limited engagement, and updating content was cumbersome.
A recent brand refresh with bright colours and quirky campaign photos, presented an opportunity to create a more dynamic, accessible, and engaging learning experience for their thousands of employees.
The process
To rethink the learning experience, we focused on making training more intuitive, interactive, and aligned with how employees actually engage with content — on their phones.
Collaborating with Anton Morrison, we explored ways to break away from rigid, desktop-based lessons and introduce a swipeable, touch-friendly interface designed for effortless navigation and intuitive learning.
The new format embraced micro-learning, delivering information in smaller, digestible pieces to keep engagement high. Instead of static presentations, lessons became dynamic, interactive modules that worked seamlessly across devices. Custom graphics, fun video loops, and animations reinforced key concepts, making the experience both visually engaging and easy to absorb.
